| Fishing The Department of Natural Resources has stocked the lake with Saugeye annually. Fishing is allowed from boats and the shoreline, in and along Deer Creek Lake and in Deer Creek below and above the lake. Ohio fishing licenses are required, and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources conservation officers enforce game laws. |

| Fish and wildlife management is a shared responsibility—the Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Corps of Engineers manage the fish and wildlife programs by habitat improvement, nesting site development, and food-plot programs for the benefit of many fish and wildlife species. |

| Biking Deer Creek State Park offers a 1.2-mile loop trail on the south side of the park suitable for novice to intermediate cyclists. The first part of the trail winds through forested rolling hills along the banks of Deer Creek Lake, while the return trip traverses more open areas. In Ohio, State park mountain bike trails are open year-round during daylight hours and free to the public. Cyclists are advised to be extra cautious during hunting season. |

| Horseback Riding A horseback-riding trail wanders through much of the park. Bring your own horse and start at the parking lot at the campground entrance. There is also a horse camp where you can camp with your horse. Horse boarding is also available. Year-round trail riding for all ages and skill levels is offered. Please ask for more information when you call for your reservations |

| Deer Creek Beach You’ll find a 3-mile sandy beach located on Crownovermill Road near the Dam. Pack a picnic and sunscreen and enjoy a day at the beach! |
